Grant Booth trained in Orthopaedic Surgery in Perth, Western Australia. He completed a shoulder surgery fellowship with internationally respected Shoulder Surgeon Dr. Alex Castagna in Milan, Italy learning advanced arthroscopic and arthroplasty techniques.

Grant founded the Perth Shoulder Clinic along with Sven Goebel with the aim of establishing a center of excellence for the treatment of disorders of the shoulder in Western Australia.

Grant holds a public appointment at Royal Perth Hospital where he performs trauma surgery and elective shoulder surgery and has accreditation and operates at Bethesda Hospital in Claremont and St John of God Hospital in Subiaco.

His professional affiliations include the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Australian Medical Association.

Grant specialises in all aspects of trauma and elective shoulder surgery including:

Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation, shoulder replacement surgery including revision arthroplasty & fractures of the humerus, scapula and clavicle.

  • Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS)
